How To: Change XP Start Button Text

Now you can change your start menu text using a little program called resource hacker! (It isn't a hack program don't be scared). Think how cool is to add your name to the Windows XP start button.  With this program you can customize Windows XP to be how you like it to be.
What is Resource Hacker?

Resource HackerTM is a freeware utility to view, modify, rename, add, delete and extract resources in 32bit & 64bit Windows executables and resource files (*.res). It incorporates an internal resource script compiler and decompiler and works on all (Win95 - Win7) Windows operating systems.

If you want to do it then follow those steps
(Note: This works only for windows xp)

1. Download resource hacker from HERE (if it doesn't work then search it on google)
2. Install and open resource hacker
3. On the Resource Manager click File-Open-C:/WINDOWS/Explorer.exe and open it
4. Click the plus next to the 37 folder, and click on the green icon with the text 1033
5. Now edit the start text to whatever you want.
6. Click Compile Script then file save as (start.exe or *.exe) --> (* means to add your own name)
7. Close Resource Hacker and go to Start-Run
8. Type regedit to open the registry editor
9. Ahead to:
 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows NT/CurrentVersion/Winlogon
10. Open the file called shell and replace the text that says explorer.exe to the exe you created in Resource Hacker (start.exe or *.exe)
11. Close the registry and restart
12. Test it!
(BE CAREFUL WITH THIS BECAUSE YOU ARE PLAYING WITH WINDOWS FILES)

Why To Be Careful?
Because if you do something wrong you can stop the windows working normally ant it can crash.  Because of that you need to be very careful when doing this tutorial.  Now thanks for reading :).
